What Wayforth is.
Wayforth is a web design studio based in Helensburgh — on the Firth of Clyde, between Glasgow and Argyll. We build websites for Scottish small businesses: tradespeople, therapists, photographers, restaurants, consultants, and anyone who needs a professional online presence without paying agency prices.
The work is principled: fixed prices, transparent process, fast delivery. No upselling services you don't need. No disappearing after you pay the deposit.
We work with businesses across Scotland and the rest of the UK. Everything is managed remotely — video calls, shared docs, staging links — so your location is never a barrier.

Who runs it
A small studio..
Wayforth is run by a former Armed Forces NCO who now builds websites full time. A decade of military service shaped how the studio operates: plan the work, ship it, own the outcome.
The military teaches you that timelines matter, that communication prevents problems, and that the job isn't done until it's done properly. Those principles translate directly into client work.
The studio is kept deliberately small — we work with a small number of clients at any one time, which means you always get the full attention of the person doing the work, not a junior taking direction from a brief.
